* We have a wealth of experience of working with Parish Councils and groups of volunteers, facilitating projects from creation to completion.

* We specialize in working with villages and smaller towns, ensuring the individual character that distinguishes their community is captured and secured in their Neighbourhood Plan.

*Our aim is to simplify and demystify the Neighbourhood Planning process for steering groups and assist in producing a Neighbourhood Plan that reflects the wishes and desires of the community.

Liz Bourne, MSc, BA (Hons)

Prior to setting up planet in 2014, Liz worked as a consultant for town and parish councils, facilitating the production of both neighbourhood plans and community plans. She

has also been a Town Manager working directly on a wide range of projects, from community planning, business planning, liaison with local groups to developing and running events

Liz works with clients to develop their plans and helps identify what policies are required to deliver results for the community and achieve a successful referendum.

Jim Ryan LLB (Hons), Solicitor

Jim is a solicitor who specialises in town and country planning law and related matters. He was admitted to the Law Society in 2001 and he deals with both contentious and non-contentious matters. He has acted both for and against local authorities as well as successfully challenging a number of government decisions.

Jim also represents developers and for over 4 years was Head of Legal at M J Gleeson Group plc

Chris Bowden, MPhil, BA (Hons), MRTPI, Navigus Planning is

Plan-et's valued associate planner

As the founder and practice director of Navigus Planning, Chris has over 15 years experience in private consultancy as well as having successfully steered a wide range of Neighbourhood Plans to referendum, Chris brings to planet the technical knowledge, when required, for successful examination.

Becky Hopkinson, BSc

With a background in logistics, project management, and Parish Councillor training, now, as Neighbourhood Plan Consultant for planet Becky offers full support to our clients to develop their plans, using up to date technical and demographic data painstakingly gathered. She specializes in the creation and analysis of surveys and questionnaires.

Becky also undertakes the appropriate research to ensure we can provide your plan with robust and relevant evidence to support your policies and will also compile and complete the documentation required for your final plan.
